Product Overview:
Unleash the power of the OEM GPS sat nav system that is already installed in your Land Rover LR3, LR2, Range Rover or Range Rover Sport! The NV_GVIF_LR NavVideo module is the easiest way to interface a video source such as a DVD player, TV tuner, iPod Video, reverse backup video camera, video game console, PC, aftermarket satellite navigation system or any other AV source directly to your OEM GPS Navigation LCD screen display in the Land Rover.
The NV_GVIF_LR is an easy to install video module that will allow you to add any NTSC / PAL composite or RGB video source to your OEM GPS navigation LCD display screen. Our module works as long as you have the factory nav option. The NV_GVIF_LR features 3 composite video inputs, one of which can be activated automatically when shifting the vehicle into reverse (usually used with a back-up camera). [Note that on some vehicles, the screen has to be in navigation mode for the camera input to activate automatically.]
The NV_GVIF_LR is an externally wired plug-and-play interface that is installed inline of your vehicles GPS computer and LCD screen; it works simply by interrupting the video signal from your GPS computer whenever you select the "Input" button on the IR remote that is provided. When your GPS is displayed simply turn on your external video source and activate the input on the remote control and the GPS video image is replaced by your video source, once you turn it back off, the GPS image is displayed once again.

Vehicle Specific Installation Information:
The NV_GVIF_LR module is very easy to install. The NV_GVIF_LR comes complete with a full installation guide, required cables, remote control and IR extender. The NV_GVIF_LR is a video only interface, which means an FM modulator, FM transmitter or CD changer audio input interface adapter needs to be used to connect the audio signal from your external source to your audio system.
The NV_GVIF_LR is video-in-motion enabled, so the video image will stay on the screen even with the car in motion! This unit will work in vehicles with the factory GPS navigation option installed.

The Nav Video Rear View Camera 1 is ideal for use with the Nav Video line of video interfaces. The camera is mounted to a black plastic frame that features two holes spaced apart for mounting on your vehicles license plate frame. Installation is easy. Simply remove the screws from your license plate, place the camera over the license plate. Then re-attach the screws. The camera adjusts up and down, to allow you to adjust the angle of the video image.
This particular backup camera has night vision IR sensors that allow you to see what's behind you even in low light or no light environments.

Simply install the camera, connect the video signal to the Nav Video module along with the vehicles reverse wire. When the vehicle is put into reverse, the video image on the module will automatically switch and show the camera video image.

The standard license plate frame is made of black plastic and features infra red night vision sensors all around it for optimal image viewing in low light conditions. The camera itself is mounted on a swiveling base which allows you to adjust the angle of the camera up or down depending on the height of your license plate.
